This year’s Newquay Fish Festival will be taking place between the 6th and 8th of September. As usual it will be held on Newquay’s harbour in a series of Marquees and tents to protect visitors from the hopefully gorgeous weather!
The aim of the festival is to show off all the perks of living in Cornwall and more specifically the joys of living by the sea. Local chefs from hotels, restaurants and bistros will be performing cooking demonstrations over the course of the festivals 3 day run. They will be using local fish, shellfish and produce in all of their demonstrations and the best bit is that visitors will be able to taste it afterwards.
Other highlights of the festival will include various fish stalls, barbecues, local choir performances, art tents, Cornish produce stands, a popup museums and talks from local historians about the area.
