Award Winning Chefs Launch Online Campaign

Two award winning chefs have started an online campaign in the hope that they can raise £10,000 to help their new business venture get off the ground. Chef Ross Bearman & Chef Ross Whitmill together won the BBC Good Food Show Midlands Street Food Award and have had their potted meats and terrines sold by elite high-street retailers: Harrods and Harvey Nichols. At only 33 and 35 they are definitely setting a fast pace for themselves.

The crowd funding will pool all the small investments together and be put towards a new online food shop which will focus on supporting local producers from the Cotswolds. Both chefs claim the producers are the best in the UK and so want to bridge the gap between them and a larger audience.

To be a contributor you need to donate at least £10 to the cause which will then entitle you to discounts, cheese boxes and food hampers in the future. Both chefs have until the 17th of June to raise the full amount so will be promoting their campaign at no less than 15 food festivals leading up to the deadline. Should they fail to reach the £10,000 goal all money will be returned to the contributors?
