Cornwall College Students Employed by Celebrity Chef

Michelin starred chef Nathan Outlaw has taken on 2 new members of staff. The Cornish celebrity chef hired two hospitality students from Cornwall College to work at his St Enodoc Hotel in Rock.

Alex Michell from Chasewater near Truro was offered the part time front of house position after serving Nathan’s table on campus. Nathan then approached college tutors because Ales had such a great personality, enthusiasm for the industry, skill and a lot potential.

Tomas Pavilonis from Camborne was offered the position of Commis Chef in the kitchen. After already tackling both cold starters and hot starters he’s now moved onto the pastry section. He got the position thanks to his skill and passion for cookery along with his strong work ethic.

Both students will benefit hugely from not only Nathan Outlaws experience but also from the numerous talented chefs he invites to the restaurant to hold master classes. Since working at the restaurant both students have already worked with Pastry Chef Clair Clarke and Celebrity Chef Valentine Warner.
