Taste of the West is an organisation committed to providing Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire with fantastic food and produce. They have organised a series of popular events by which they celebrate the infusion of local food and goods as local businesses, restaurants and cafes come together.
Devon is host to two spectacular food events taking place over the next month:
Dartington Food Fair 2014: 31 May & 1 June
This two day event is set to delight customers with not only a showcase of delicious local produce but also arts, crafts and further activities to keep all of the family entertained.

Otter St Mary Food & Families Festival is taking place on the 14th June
Located on Mill Street, a range of exhibitors will be there to provide the public with some gorgeous food and drink. A cookery theatre has also been organised where Robin Ray from The Rusty Pig and other local chefs will display their talent.
