Nimble Chef is a free app that’s currently available from iTunes that’s compatible with the ever popular iPad. It was iTunes’s first intelligent recipe app that other companies have since tried to replicate without the same success. Nimble Chef currently has a 4+ star rating from its users.
The main feature of the app allows users to combine up to three ‘intelligent’ recipes. As you combine them their instructions, timescales and ingredients will all adapt for each and every possible combination. The app will then give you a complete timeline of events that will illustrate your busiest periods and when you are likely to have some down time.
Other features include lots of free sample recipes from every featured chef in its database. You also have the opportunity to browse and purchase 1000’s of recipes from Iron Chefs, Top Chefs and Michelin Chefs from around the world. Each recipe has its own gallery to help compare your progress against the chefs. The app will even help you create and send email shopping lists!
