Head Chef - Busy Hotel and Restaurant - Plymouth - £38,000

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced chef looking to take on the role of Head Chef in this busy hotel and restaurant. Leading a small team of 5 chefs catering for predominantly restaurant service with wedding and function trade, you will offer hands-on direction and supervision to your team to ensure continuity in food production and service.

As Head Chef you will be responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant producing an excellent standard of food for conference and banqueting style service and TDH menus for the restaurant.

Ideally you will have previously worked in a hotel which caters for weddings, functions and the conference trade, you should have experience of mid to high volume service, be organised, have excellent management techniques, be punctual, well presented, enjoy working in a team and have the ability to train your kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate will have some experience at Head Chef level or be a very experienced Sous Chef looking to take on their first role as Head Chef in any event you should be passionate about excellent food and service.
