Head Chef - Hotel and Restaurant - Nr Ilchester - Temp Live-in - £52K Package

We're thrilled to be recruiting for our client and are looking for an experienced chef to take the leading roll as Head Chef of a contemporary style restaurant within a fantastic small hotel.

We are looking for a chef who is classically trained, passionate about food and service and has experience of working in fine dining pubs and/or restaurants. Ideally you will have worked at AA 1-2 Rosette standard and have at least 3 years at Sous Chef level or above, this position may suit someone looking for their first position as Head Chef. You should be enthusiastic, motivated and have drive to produce exceptional plates of food. You will have a good repertoire of dishes, understand the importance of using the finest seasonal produce available and enjoy writing menus and producing dishes to reflect this.

Our client is seeking consistency, to build on their already excellent reputation and want someone that will impart training and development of the other chefs in the team. You will have good kitchen management skills, an excellent knowledge of health and hygiene regulations, have experience of purchasing food and excellent stock control practices. You will be a good communicator, work well in a team environment and have the ability to organise a smooth running kitchen.

The restaurant caters for very approximately 20-40 covers for lunches, up to 80 covers for dinner and can accommodate in the region of 100 covers for Sunday lunch.
