The Role Of The Head Chef

As a Head Chef you are basically the King of the kitchen. It is your job to coordinate a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.

  • Creating and developing the menu
  • Assigning roles within the kitchen
  • Ordering Ingredients
  • Monitoring Stock
  • Ensuring quality of food is maintained
  • Scheduling rota of staff required
  • Regulating sanitary and health and safety in the kitchen
