On the last weekend of April 2017, make sure to visit the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink located in the Northernhay Gardens and Exeter Castle Grounds. Co-founded by Michael Caines MBE, this festival has been successfully running for 14 years and showcases the very best West Country Produce from over 100 producers.
The festival has a number of other attractions including master classes, competitions and demonstrations from top regional chefs.
Another popular attraction is the After Dark Music Festival. This 3-day music festival runs in the evenings alongside the food festival. It showcases local musicians, an array of street food, and locally produced beers, ciders and wines available from the festival bar. Tickets are available via the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink website. Ticket prices start at £8 for Saturday and £6 for Sunday and Monday, but combination tickets and weekend passes are available also.
