The Great British Bake Off captured the hearts and minds of not only Britain’s eager to learn wannabe chefs but pretty much the majority of the British public who wanted to know a thing or two about improving their cooking skills.
The popular show which has been moved to Channel 4 after the last series is set to return with a completely new line up.
The show has said goodbye to the nations much loved Mary Berry, leaving Paul Hollywood to be the only person from the original line up said to be returning to the show since its move to Channel 4. The Sun has reported that Prue Leith will also be judging alongside Paul Hollywood and working with newly announced presenters Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding.
That’s not all… on August 3rd, Channel 4 released a promo providing us with a sneak peek of what we can expect. The advert which starts with dough singing along to Paul McCartney’s “We All Stand Together” has already stirred up some controversy amongst the original fans of the “old” Great British Bake Off, however it doesn’t seem like we are going to have long to wait with the trailer confirming that The Great British Bake off will be returning to our screen soon!
