This is an absolute classic British Dish that will not leave you disappointed. Whether you are cooking for your family and friends or preparing a meal in a restaurant, this simple yet filling meal can be prepared and cooked in just 55 minutes.
Ingredients to serve 4:
8 Pork Sausages (Flavour of your choice)
4 Eggs
300ml milk
254g plain flour
Salt and Pepper
Rosemary Sprigs
- Whilst you are preparing the food preheat the oven to 220 degrees
- Heat some oil in a baking dish for approximately 5 mins
- Add the sausages to the dish, make sure they do not overlap, cook for 10 minutes
- Create the batter by whisking 4 eggs, flour and milk until you have created a batter that is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the batter over your sausages
- Season your food a small amount of salt and as much pepper as you desire
- Put the baking dish back in the oven and cook for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes sprinkle over some rosemary and cook for a remaining 10 minutes or until the batter is completely cooked
